Wenceslas square is also related to the most important historic points like revolutionary upheavals of 1848, the creation of the new Czechoslovak Republic in 1918 and in 1989 the fall of communism was announced here. Next stop is Little Quarter that is one of Prague′s most historic regions. Nowadays it is a micture of historic buildings and tourist restaurants and shops. But it still has a strong charm, especially quarter with St. Nicholas Church. You can also enjoy the panoramatic view of the Prague Castle whose number of spires, towers and palaces dominate the city centre like in a fairy-tale. According to the Guinness World Records, it’s the largest ancient castle in the world: 570 m long, an average of 128 m wide and covering a total area bigger than seven football fields. Walk throught courts and listen to the stories about its history. After walking around the most iconic part of castle awaits for you - St. Vitus Cathedral. This Gothic cathedral was founded in 1344 and the construction took nearly 600 years. Its impressive interior is home to such wonders as the beautifully decorated St. Wenceslas Chapel with the tomb of St. Wenceslas, the crypt where Czech kings are buried, and the Crown Chamber, where the Crown Jewels are kept.

Bus will take you to an "island" surrounded with the Vltava river and Čertovka river. This picturesque part of Little Quarter is called Kampa and it used to be a farmland. From here you will walk over Charles Bridge, the oldest bridge in Prague, built between 1357 and 1402. King Charles IV replaced old Judith Bridge that had been strongly damaged by flood. This new bridge originally called Stone or Prague Bridge was the only way how to cross the river Vltava until 1941. Walk tour continues to Old Town and Jewish Town. Both quarters have a rich history you can feel all around. Just listen to your guide and imagine how was it to live here few hundreds years ago. Then you will come to Old Town Square that is the oldest and maybe the most significant square in Prague. It has been Prague′s principal public square since the 10th century and it still is the place where concerts, markets, political meetings and many other events are held. Here you can admire Old Town Hall with an unique Astronomical Clock. Come here at the top of each hour and you will see a performance that takes only 45 seconds but brings all the fame to the clocks. Take some time and be observing, there is a lot of hidden meanings in an intriguing symbolism. You will spend the rest of the day on a Petrin hill in the center of Prague. It rises up 130 m above the left bank of the Vltava river and it´s almost entirely covered with parks. You will reach the very top of Petrin hill in cable car.
